When you're selling too hard and chasing clients – they can smell desperation a mile away.

The same goes for girls.

Simping won’t cut it for you.

So what do you need to do?

Have options. I mean, always.

Being too needy for a job or a date will result in people taking advantage of you.

If clients see you're desperate, they might ask for more work than you agreed on or try to pay you less.

They think you'll say yes to anything because you don't want to lose them.

But you need to make it clear that you’re willing to walk away.

Especially if they disrespect your conditions and boundaries.

You don’t need them → THEY need YOU.

When you get it right – the first couple hundred of $ (from clients you truly enjoy working with) and some unforgettable nights are guaranteed.

Abundance of options

Not long ago, I had a client who didn't respect my boundaries.

He said one thing but did entirely something else.

After a week of back-and-forth, we finally agreed on a plan that changed for the 3rd time at that point.

But five days later, before our deadline, the client suddenly wasn't sure about working with me anymore.

I said to myself: “That’s enough.”

The paycheck was sweet and it would hurt to lose, but in moments like these, it's super important to stand up for yourself.

I let the client know I value my work and myself.

If he didn't want to work with me – that’s fine.

I have other clients waiting.

Having the mindset of abundance, of having plenty of options, is the way to go.

It shows you won't just accept anything, and people will respect you more for it.

So, how to land more clients & 10/10 baddies?

• Recognize your worth: Understand that you bring unique value to the table. Whether it's your skill in web3 ghostwriting or your charm as a date, know that you're a catch.

• Keep your options open: Always be on the lookout for new opportunities. The more options you have, the less desperate you'll feel.

• Set clear boundaries: Whether it's with a client or a date, make your limits known. If they can't respect them, they're not worth your time.

• Be ready to walk away: If a situation isn't serving you, have the courage to leave. This might be hard, especially when the stakes are high, but you need to do it to preserve your self-respect.

Web3 content sucks.
